Our curriculum includes visits to places of
interest and outdoor activities such as hillwalking and trail cycling.
We have been fortunate to have two of our trips
sponsored by Shell. One was a day in October where the children could
choose from white water rafting, mountain biking and canoeing. The
other was a trip to the dry ski slope at Craigendarroch. Read our
stories and look at some of the photographs taken on our adventures. |
On Wednesday 14th June we went to 'Kids Out' a
fun day organised by the Rotary Club for children with special
needs. It is held at Gordon Barracks in Aberdeen.
There were lots of different activities to try out and watch, from
pony riding to face painting, bouncy castles to magicians it was a
super day.
Look out for our stories, pictures and photographs.
During the last week of term there are many
items to look forward to:
Sports Day is on Friday 23rd we are having all sorts of races -
obstacle, skipping, bean bag and maybe a parents fun race.
The pupils and staff will be coming to school dressed 'kool' in shades
and baseball caps some may go as far as shorts and T-shirt.
This is to help make a child's visit or stay in hospital more
comfortable. Last year 'Kool for Kids Day' raised over £30,000,
hopefully this year it will be even better. The rest of the week will
be full of competitions and events -
Pool final
Beetle Drive
Beat the Goalie
Colouring Competition
