The Agreed syllabuses for RE in the UK have to take into account the beliefs and teachings of the principal religions represented in Britain. In our school we look at five major religions, Hinduism is one of them.

I have written this information for children between the ages of seven and eleven. It is therefore simplistic. I hope that nobody has reason to find anything within offensive, but if what I have written offends you I apologise. Please contact me and I will change it. Carol Rainbow
