Only just inside the Oxfordshire border with the King stone standing in a field across the road and over the borderline into Warwickshire is one the most peaceful places in Oxfordshire: The Rollright Stones.
This picture in a field a little way from the stone circle is of The Whispering Knights.
I was going to produce a whole site with research, stories, legends etc. When I came to start my research with a visit to the site to take these photographs, I found that there is already a very comprehensive site dedicated to this stone circle and linked to many others: The Rollright Stones
