Braidside Integrated Nursery opened in September 1989 when the Nursery
and Primary Schools were founded by a group of parents who were committed
to the idea of integrated education in the Ballymena area. In September
1992 the school moved from temporary premises to the present purpose
built site on Frys Road, and in September 2000 the Nursery moved in
to a new, larger and brighter Nursery room.
The Nursery has 26 funded pre-school places and runs from 9am to 11.30am

Integrated Education Braidside is a planned integrated school where
the staff, Governors, parents and children are drawn from both main
traditions and from other faiths. We are committed to an anti-bias,
anti-discriminatory approach to learning and an environment where
children and parents can encounter, understand, and celebrate difference.
