CURRICULUM:
The child-centred curriculum is set out under the seven "Areas of Learning" as suggested in "Curricular Guidance for Pre-School Education". The staff provide the children with a rich variety of play activities and other experiences in a stimulating and challenging environment so that they can learn without experiencing a sense of failure.

PARTNERSHIP WITH PARENTS:
Parents are encouraged to participate in the life of the school by
  joining the Parent’s Committee which organises social, fund-raising and educational events.

SCHOOLS COMMUNITY RELATIONS PROGRAMME:
Each year this school joins with Larne Nursery School in a programme of cross-community events which continues to develop.

OTHER AGENCIES:
Staff are working closely with Conservation Volunteers (N.I.) to develop the external environment of the school and will be implementing an agreed plan during the next school year.


SNACKTIME AND LUNCHTIME:

Children are offered healthy snacks e.g. fruit and toast. They can have a school meal or bring a packed lunch to eat at midday.
