Victoria Primary School is located in Carrickfergus on the shore of Belfast Lough. The school was built in 1968, the nursery unit opened in 1969.
It is a dual day unit offering twenty six places in both the morning session
9.00 – 11.30 a.m. and the afternoon session 12.30 – 3.00 p.m.
The nursery aims to provide a happy, secure, stimulating and challenging environment. The staff have many years experience working with young children. The head of the unit, Mrs. I Moore is assisted by Mrs. M Johnston and Mrs. J Johnston.
The broad and balanced curriculum incorporates the seven areas of learning, and with careful planning offers many activities to develop the personal, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child at their particular stage.
An application form and information booklet can be obtained from the office during the first week in January of each year.
