of Hengrave Hall
It was about 9 o'clock and we were sent in to put our bed time clothes on. While we were doing this Mr Stockley was getting the bonfire ready to be lit. Once the bonfire was lit we all came out of the dormitories and went and sat around the fire. When we were all quiet we started the talent show. People were singing in groups. One group sang S Club 7,Don't stop. Another group sang Fuges, Killing me softly with his song, another sang Boyzone, Sorry, then the fast group sang Nasty spider. While people were singing there were about 20 Billy_ witches flying around us getting stuck to our night clothes.
When Mr Stockley chucked another piece of wood or a box on the fire it really lit the grounds. It got to about 10:45pm and we were sent in to bed. When we were all out of the way Mr Stockley put the fire out.
