THE CURRICULUM

We use both the National Literacy and National Numeracy Guidelines throughout the school

Science is taught on a two-year rolling programme. This ensures that children experience all the Programmes of Study for the National Curriculum first when they are Lower Juniors and again when Upper Juniors. Different topics are chosen at each of these stages.

Religious Education is taught in themes in accord with the Suffolk Agreed Syllabus

History, Geography, Design Technology, Music and Art are also taught on a rolling programme that utilises the available QCA Guidelines.

Information and Communication Technology is used to enrich the complete curriculum.
