Chapman's Hill
School Farm

The Centre is a 118 acre working farm operated jointly by the Education Department and the Worgan Trust.  It is situated on the south west edge of Birmingham next to the M5 motorway and is easily reached form all parts of the City.

The farm can accommodate one junior school class per day but schools can request a whole year group allocation to meet their curriculum requirements.

The new farmer, Mr Peter Charles, took over  Chapmans Hill Farm on 1st August 2000. He runs a 60 cow BSE free herd of pedigree Friesians with calves reared on the farm for beef and milk production. He has also bought a flock of 100 sheep, due to lamb in February/March 2001.

A range of other tame farm animals including Mickey the pot bellied pig are kept and will be fed during a visit.
