The World’s fastest fighter is the Mig-25 Foxbat. It was created by
the Russians. The American B-70 bomber was a threat to the Russians, so
they developed the Mig-25 Foxbat to deal with the American bombers. When
the B-70 bomber was cancelled in 1960. Moscow continued with the construction
and so the world’s fastest and interceptor was created.
There was only one aircraft that could keep up with the Foxbat and
that was the harmless unarmed American Blackbird.
As well as being the fastest fighter the Foxbat is the world’s biggest
interceptor. A pilot and his ground crew when standing next to the Foxbat
would be tiny in comparison.
