The Governors of Colerne are a group of like minded people who have one aim, that is to help create and maintain an environment in which pupils can gain the best education and develop into caring and responsible young people.With this in mind we have an organisational structure which is illustarted below: Main Governing Body Curriculum Committee / Finance - Premises Committee / Personnel Committee   There are currently 14 members and they take on responsibilities within each committee. The finance grouping is made up of the Chair plus members from Curriculum and Personnel. All committees meet once per half term and report to a Full Governors meeting once per half term, this helps to spread the responsibilities and workload. The members are from a wide range of professions including the rector, a solicitor, retired forces personnel, business men and parents.
