Citizenship

Information for Year 6 pupils

Citizenship is a lesson in which you are taught and learn the skills you will need to become a member of your local, national and international communities. In particular, you will learn about: the law and government and your rights and responsibilities, how to look after money, how to participate in decision making in your local, national and international communities, how to communicate effectively, how to take big decisions that will affect your life, the value of relationships and family life, the role of leisure, the media and sport in your life and the values of living in a diverse society.
