Pupils entered for basic or intermediate levels will cover a smaller
number of topics at a different rate of learning.
Basic level covers topics required to achieve up to grade D at
GCSE.
Intermediate level candidates will expect grades E-B at GCSE.
Higher level candidates will expect grades C-A* at GCSE.
