Gridlink International School

Gridlink International School offers courses for overseas pupils designed to provide them with education to UK National Curriculum standards.

Courses may be followed leading to British International GCSE examinations and qualifications.

Tuition is carried out via the Internet and email, following the same routine as for students in the UK.

Course materials including educational software are available from Gridlink at cost, plus shipping.

Gridlink cannot undertake to visit students outside the UK; however we will do our best to ensure that Gridlink is a suitable method of tuition for each potential student before we embark on a contract.

Study range ö KS2, full KS3, KS4 (GCSE).

Preparation for SATS.
GCSE - International GCSE or GCE O level.

Preparation for AS levels and A levels.

Hardware and Software Requirements

á         Multimedia PC

á         Modem and Internet connection

á         Colour Printer

á         Scanner

á         Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and image processing software

Other software, such as DTP packages and drawing programs, may be helpful for the student but are not essential.


Guide to costs

Gridlink normally recommends a fifteen-hour study week for a student on a full programme, studying up to eight subjects. The average charge for this full-time programme is £135 per week up to the end of KS3(age 14) and £150 per week for students preparing for GCSE or IGCSE examinations. VAT is chargeable to customers within the EU. Additional costs are those of textbooks and examination fees.

Quotations will be provided individually for students requiring a part-time programme.
