Welcome to the Deanery High School Interlink Project Web Site

The Interlink Project has been set up to bring together schools in the UK with those in New Zealand. It is being managed by the British Council on behalf of the UK and New Zealand governments.

We are pleased to be a part of this project, and these pages will give you an insight into the work we are doing with our partners at Tikipunga High School.

Greetings fellow Interlinkers and welcome to the Deanery High School Web pages. I hope that you are awaiting the start of this project as eagerly as us. We are hoping that the project is the start of a new generation in education links and that the opportunities it provides for all the participating students will help in their future understanding of each others country, people and culture.

Our school is a Christian one, which values the worth of the individual and aims to maximise their potential in whatever area they excel, be it sporting, artistic, academic or vocational.

This site will be written and maintained by a class of year 9 pupils (13-14 year olds) as part of the Interlink project. We have been twinned with Tikipunga High School in New Zealand and are looking forward to an increasingly profitable and enjoyable exchange.
