Assemblies

At Dersingham, classes celebrate the various religious festivals throughout the year with whole school assemblies.

Divali

Year 2 classes celebrated Divali. They made Divali cards and clay divas. Miss Britton`s class performed the story of Rama and Sita. Some children from Mr Rickels` class performed a Divali dance.

Easter

Children from Mr Perry`s Year 2 class and Mrs Stanton`s Year One class told the Easter story and shared some work about new animals and Spring.

Eid

Children from Year 2 classes looked at the festival of Eid. They told the story of Muhammod and looked at the different phases of the moon. Some children made prayer mats by weaving coloured paper.
