The School
Deykin Avenue is situated in the Erdington border, two miles from the City Centre. The school is within easy reach of the main shopping centre of Witton.
The school has been recently been renovated and redecorated and presents a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Work has also been done on all four entrances to the school to enable easier access for those with disability and all the railing around the school have been repainted.
The school has its own well stocked garden and a sheltered grass area for games. Very recently, the children designed a "quiet area" garden with benches, and this is a very successful feature of the school playground. The school is also situated within easy walking distance of a pleasant park area and a nearby canal, all of which are excellent resources for school science and environmental work.
