Phil Carpenter - Team manager  Known to all as ‘Chippy’. He is a contracts Manager with a road surfacingcompany. Ex Ski paddler - is now a reformed radical kayak surfer !?! Enjoys travelling, Skiing and drinking Guinness ! Has a weakness for all females called ‘Betty’ !?

Tim Thomas  Current Junior and Senior World Champion and British Senior Champion. He is representing Wales for the fifth year: he is also a member of the British Rodeo Team. When not paddling, he is usually found socialising in relax mode, tasting Tequilas at the bar, or chatting on the phone!?! And filling ash trays.

 Ben Thomas – Junior Representative  This is the fourth year for Ben to represent Wales in kayak surfing and his second world championships. He is a full time student and finds being an ARTIST easy!!  His hobbies are cycling, jogging, winding up his mother and making the place look untidy with pint glasses! He also enjoys being on Babe Patrol.

 Bethan Thomas  Bethan has represented Wales for the last 5 years. She is known as "Team Mam" and is the social secretary for her two little treasures – Tim and Ben.

Mark Williams This is Mark’s second World Championships and has represented Wales for the last three years. This is his first year at Senior level. He finds socialising and partying hard work and a struggle? Hobbies are surfing, cycling and babe hunting.

 Martin Treacey  Martin is a Police Constable by day and a trainee party animal by night. Once heard, never forgotten. Is representing Wales for the third year. Partial to the company of ‘El Brillo.

 Craig Norman  The quietest member of Team Wales – don’t be misled by his silent manner. He is a strong competitor worth watching, especially on the big waves. He is often led astray by his fiance Llian?

 Sharon Jeffries Sharon’s the name – catering’s the game. When not working as a Catering Manager she is yet another party animal. Loves the three S’s – socialising, swimming and surfing.

Richard Berry Works as an Armitage Winder (??) Has represented Wales for the last 3 years. When not out bouncing on the waves he enjoys aerobics, making new toys and making girls happy?

Simon Davies Simon ‘Not So Delicate Davies’ has been a strong member of the Welsh Team for six years. Whilst in Jersey last year, he was the chauffeur for the Welsh Royal Family and is a fully paid up member of the S.S.!

 Colin Harvey Another quiet,unassuming sort of a guy! Yet another ex ski paddler, but has now squeezed himself into a Titan. Has been known to be able to drink for Wales, England and Ireland. Is a strong radical paddler (but not as radical as Chippy)
