Choose a moving toy to make and simply follow our instructions!

(We have coloured all of the verbs in the instructions because we have been learning about verbs)

          

Follow James' instructions to make an alien with a moving mouth like his.     

What you need:     

Card, a pencil, crayons, scissors and a split pin.

What you do: 

First you get some card.

Then get a pencil and draw the monster's head. Draw the bottom draw separately.

Colour the parts in and cut them out.

After that put the split pins in.

Finally play with it!

To make a crocodile with a moving jaw, follow Christopher's instructions.

What you need:

Crayons, a split pin, scissors, pencil, a piece of card.

What you do:

  1. Draw a crocodile with a separate jaw.

  2. Colour it in.

  3. Cut out the crocodile.

  4. Join the bottom jaw to the top jaw with a split pin.

  5. Play with it!

Follow Harriet's instructions to make a giraffe with a moving neck.

What you need:

Scissors, card, crayons, pencil, split pin.

What you do:

  1. First you draw the head and neck.

  2. Then you draw the body separately.

  3. Then you colour it in and cut all of the parts out.

  4. Join the head and neck onto the body with the split pin.

  5. Finally play with it.
