5: Tessellating LogoWe made a design made of ten pentagons which rotate to form a decagon inside them. We liked this shape best of all and decided to use it for our basic shape.

We then we copied it out of the LOGO
program and made copies of it in a graphics program and moved them around to make
tessellating patterns.
This animation shows one way in which the design can be tessellated if parts of it overlap. |
