NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION
Justin Case 10 Necessity Lane Inventionville MACH 1NE
Dear Mrs Y. Prose
I've invented a machine which writes letters in rhyme, no other that I have seen is as useful as mine.
You write your own letter, feed it through the jaws, it will come out much better - but it's still really yours!
The machine is quite cheap, and it works like the best. It might look like a heap, but it beats all the rest.
It will transform your life for an extremely low price. There is no need for strife - it is quieter than mice.
I'm asking you to try the offer of all time - so come to me and buy a machine to write in rhyme!
To ensure satisfaction I offer a guarantee - buy my invention, and you'll be as happy as me!
Yours faithfully,
Justin Case

IS IT . . . ?
Is it out of sight out of mind? Or maybe just that love is blind.
Is it absence makes the heart grow fonder? Or is it all just a blunder?
Is it as it seems, Or maybe it's just all dreams.
A fantasy to you and me, Is it not what it seems to be?
An emotion, Much stronger than devotion, Tugs away inside, Do not try and hide.
Those still waters run deep, Something you always can keep.
When worn right, fits like a glove, A simple word that we call love.

CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT
There it stood lonely on a hill, Twisting and groaning of its own free will. What a picture, what a sight, God help the souls who passed that night.
The girl stood at the bottom of the drive, Not knowing this would be the last night she would be alive. The door creaked, the window rattled, Against the cobwebs the small girl battled.
She'd heard the legend, she knew the tales, From the upstairs bedroom she heard the wails. Why did she enter? What made her do that When everyone knows curiosity killed the cat?
