Two weeks ago Sambawamba from Nottingham came to a school called East field lower to teach them Dance Art and music on the 16,17,18 of October.

On Carnival Day the dancers were ready and the drummers got out their drums and paraded out. Parents like Fran

cesca's mum had wondered what all the noise was about. People went out their gates and saw the carnival. And even a bus driver stopped to see what all the excitement was. Surdos were playing, dancing was starting. Matt has played on many of the Brazilian drums but has never in his life been to Brazil. Eyewitnesses say that the drummers had different signs to follow on the day so they knew which beats to play.
