


Windows 95 -
An IntroductionCOURSE DESCRIPTION
The course will show attendees how to start up and shut down their system, how to open, close, move and change the size of windows.
The sesion will also cover starting programs from Windows and creating shortcuts to programs or other files. Finally the session will cover the use of Windows Explorer and the Recycle Bin to manage their files.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Members of school staff who need to make effective use of computers running Windows 95. The course would be suitable for new users or those switching from other systems.
WHAT WILL YOU GAIN
On successful completion of this session attendees will have an improved knowledge of the nature and functions of Windows 95.
They will be able to start up and shut down the system and run programs on it. They will also be able to manage the appearance of items on screen and to manage their files using Windows Explorer.
PREREQUISITES
It is considered essential, in order to obtain best value from attendance at this session, that attendees should have access to a Windows 95 based PC in order to reinforce the skills learned on the course.
