Mud Pond

Near a pitch black wood lies Mud Pond. The sky is navy blue and the moon is silver and round. On the dirty water you can see the rippling reflection of the silver moon. Around the pond you can see long swaying reeds, green grass and soggy plants. Swimming in Mud Pond are silver scaled fish popping their heads up to see the silver moon.

Bonfire Night Poems

Bonfire Night

One cold harvest moonlit night

When the fire was burning.

And then all of a sudden.

BANG a firework.

I love Roman Candles when they shoot up and sparkle down.

I love the colors purple, green, yellow and blue. Like a fountain in a park…

all of the sparks

love the nice food, the soup and the hotdogs the toffee - apple and the candy - floss, pizza and beef - burger that ought to warm you up.

Bonfire Night

I admire the bonfire's and fireworks, Cold, dark, misty nights, Big bright haunted moonlit night,

Fire orange, sun yellow and red. Burning Guy throwing flames and sparks

Rocket zooming , screaming and clashing.

Spark's blue, purple and ruby.

Shooting up like a space rocket.

Hot vegetable soup boiling warm and delicious

Firework's gone. Bonfire's out.

Broken chair's and scrappy piece's remain

Dragging my feet home

A warm cosy bed

I'm so tired I can't wait till next year.

By ASHLEY

Bonfire Night

I love bonfires and fireworks.

Cold dark scary night.

Smoke billowing

Flames flashing shivering,

Orange Red and Yellow.

Pink, Red , Yellow and Orange, spitting, sparkling stars.

Roman Candle like a fountain standing in the garden.

by John Tom

Bonfires and Rockets

Rockets screaming bursting

Bonfire crackling and cold,

Flames orange, yellow and red.

The smoking Guy, flames dancing,

The smell of hotdogs in the air.

Fireworks over....noise has gone,

Bonfire out, nothing but ashes.................

Time to go home.

27 Sea Street

Dear Lumpy Lawson,

My Great Granny Peggy has just walked the plank. But she left me her house. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS DON'T YOU? Yes, no more sea for me.

You can come and live with me because you don't like the sea. We will have fun. You will have the room with the shell light. Bald Ben and Molly and Polly will be coming too. Bald Ben will have the big T.V. Molly and Polly are having a bed of their own with fishes on.

Love,

Blackpatch

Ancient Greeks

The wooden Horse of Troy

Paris stole Helen and took her back to Troy. The Greeks went to Troy to get her back. They found no way into Troy. One of the men had a plan. It was to build a wooden horse and inside could fit six men. They did this then they left the horse outside the gates.

The Trojans dragged the wooden horse into Troy. The Trojans celebrated with a big feast and red wine. Then they just left the wooden horse inside the gates. While the Trojans were still drunk and asleep the gates were opened by the Greeks who had returned and entered the city and killed all the Trojans then too.
