The subject-based structure of our curriculum complies with all the requirements of the

Curriculum. Information Technology is taught as a discrete subject to all pupils in KS3.
Pupils in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8-9) follow this curriculum.

Pupils in Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11) follow this core

French (full or half GCSE)
A Technology based subject ( a full or half GCSE)- Food, Design, Technology, Textiles
Geography and / or History
Physical Education
Religious Education
Social Education ( Including one of Careers and work experience )
All pupils have access to the following vocational courses ( GNVQ Part 1 )
Art & design
Health & Social Care
Business Administration
Pupils then have an additional choice of the following GCSE Courses:
Physical Education
Drama
Information Technology
Music
The 6th Form has the opportunity to study full GNVQ to either Intermediate or Advanced
level in:
Health and Social Care
Art & Design
Business Administration
Leisure & Tourism
All 6th form student follow a core course of:
Key Skills ( IT, numeracy and communication )
Religious Education
Social Education
Physical Education
In addition we have started an Advanced Course ( A Level ) in English.
