SuccessMaker is an unparalleled learning system for students of all abilities, enabling teachers to provide differentiated and individualised tuition across the classroom. It develops basic literacy and numeracy skills by allowing students to progress at their own pace. |
The computer system is supplied by by RM Learning Systems of Abingdon, Oxfordshire, and thenetwork is an industrial standard PC network based upon Novell networking systems. The SuccessMaker software has been developed by Computer Curriculum Corporation (CCC) of Sunnyvale, California. CCC has been developing and enhancing SuccessMaker in the classroom for 25 years, giving it unparalled expertise in computer assisted instruction (CAI).
At the heart of SuccessMaker is the Integrated Management System: it automatically keeps track of each student's progress and, as they take sessions in a course, their performance data is recorded in a 'history' file which is used to provide further individual instruction.
The teacher can choose from a selection of reports:
|
Course Reports provide detailed data on individual student performance in each course. Grouping Reports for most courses show strands or areas in which students are performing below their average in a course and list specific skills with which students are experiencing difficulties |

Individualised Prescriptive Strategy Reports are planning tools that estimate the time needed for students to reach achievement goals.
Custom Reports provide over 50 special-purpose reports along with facilities for creating, testing, organising and printing your own reports to match the requiremnts of the system managers, teachers, parents and students.
