The Careers Adviser for Fraserburgh Academy is Mrs Rose Crawford. Mrs Crawford works for a company called Grampian Careers, who are based in Peterhead.

The majority of her time is spent in schools helping pupils develop their career ideas. Much of her work is concentrated on the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Year pupils, but she does have an input into the Second Year careers education programme.

Pupils need to be aware of different career opportunities at different times of the year, thus the work of a careers adviser changes from one month to the next.

On the next page is a list of the work that your careers adviser does on a month to month basis and a list of opportunities that pupils should be aware of when planning their careers. This page gives you guidance on when to fill out forms, when to see the careers adviser, when to apply to college, etc..
