You are expected to carry a bag to school at all times and keep it with you all the time - the school is not responsible for bags that are stolen. This will allow you to take care of equipment such as books and jotters etc.
You are expected to bring your own basic equipment such as pens, pencil, ruler, P.E. kit etc. The school provides you with jotters, books and other items of equipment which remain the property of the Education Department. If you lose or damage them, you may be expected to pay for them.
All textbooks should be covered with a protective cover.
Lockers are available for rent. They are located in the Social Area.
VALUABLES
You are strongly advised not to bring expensive belongings, clothes or large amounts of money to school. You should not wear items of jewellery or personal stereo headsets as these can be dangerous.
COMMUNICATIONS
Communication between students and staff is a two-way process. It is important that you should keep your Guidance teacher informed of any change in your circumstances (change of address etc.) You should also inform him/her of any achievements which would be relevant for reference purposes. It is vital that you should pay attention to the various means of conveying information to you in the school:
