Fraserburgh Academy

Suggestions & Pointers

Fraserburgh Academy's guiding principle is to help all of our pupils to develop their talents and skills.

This will allow them to live fuller lives and contribute more to a productive and diverse society.

IMPORTANT POINTERS
  • DO remember that Fraserburgh Academy means YOU. What you do and say and how you behave will decide whether or not the school will be considered a 'good' school.
  • DO make the most of opportunities provided by joining in sports activities, societies, clubs, not forgetting the opportunity to learn a whole range of new subjects.
  • DO consult your teacher if you have any difficulty with part of the work.
  • DO keep a note of any homework you receive and complete it for the date it is meant for.
  • DO ask your guidance teacher if you need help or advice. He/she will try to help with any type of problem.
  • DO arrive on time, properly dressed, clean and tidy, with a pen, pencil, ruler and rubber and the books required for that day.
  • DO cover books and jotters with a protective material and carry these items in a waterproof container which will keep them in good condition.
  • DO make sure that you have your name on all your belongings, clothes, school bag, books etc.
  • DO make sure that litter is deposited in litter baskets.
  • DO behave as a reasonable citizen outside of school as well as inside, in particular on the way to and from school. If you behave badly when not in school then you will cast a bad reflection on Fraserburgh Academy.
  • DO dress sensibly, Fraserburgh Academy encourages the wearing of a basic uniform and exaggerated forms of dress are not permitted.
