History - Rationale |
|
|
Fraserburgh Academy History department operates on the premise that although there are a number of groups involved in the educational system- including parents and teachers- it is the pupils who are the most important element. The History department is keen to play its part in creating a culture of achievement in the school for all pupils. Furthermore the department is opposed to and will not knowingly use any policies which discriminate against individuals on the basis of their gender, race, disability, socio-economic background or personal educational needs. The History department also believes that it can only achieve its aims in partnership with pupils and parents and seeks to produce a positive ethos which will make the department a safe and welcoming place of enjoyment for all concerned in the educational process. |
