Review of Personal Reading (Higher English)

A wide range of suggested texts have been gathered from library stock to form the RPR collection. This collection is near the issue desk and is well signposted so make your way there and start thinking about what you’d like to research.

There are loads of new titles to choose from including a special Scottish Writers’ Section which has proved extremely popular already. As well as novels you will find short stories, collections of poetry, listening tapes and critical notes on selected texts. There are also two magazines, “Scotlit” and “English Review” to give you background information. Ask library staff to use one of the literary CD-ROMs or book the internet and search the relevant author pages.
