Parents Association

There is a parents’ association which has been broadened to become The Friends of Fryerns, to which all parents automatically belong once their child becomes a member of the school. The main purpose of The Friends of Fryerns is to strengthen communications between parents, the staff and the local community to support the aims of the school for the welfare of the children.. Recent fund-raising activities have helped to provide equipment for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, sports vests and shirts for pupils representing the school, to supplement computer equipment, to boost the facilities of the Resource Centre and to help provide lockers for students. A range of social activities are arranged. All talents and enthusiasms can be utilised - the Annual General Meeting of the association takes place in the Autumn, and all parents are cordially invited to attend.
