School Trips

Nuclear Power Plant

Primary 6/7 went to a Nuclear Power Plant in the year 2000 because we were doing a project on energy. We saw a Reactor, Generator and a Turbine. Then a guide took us to the control room. In the shop we got to try an energy bike to see how much energy you could make. It was a great experience and we really enjoyed it.

Castles

Primary 4/5 went to Stirling Castle in January 1999. They went because they were doing a project on castles. They went round just about all of the castle and when they came back they said that they really enjoyed it. In November 2000 primary 4 went again they said they learned a lot about castles and they also said they enjoyed it a lot. We also have visited Edinburugh Castle.

Safari Park

We go to the safari park every year because it is free of charge.
We go to the safari park to learn how the animals live and we enjoy it very much.

Kings Theatre

The first time we went to the Kings Theatre was in 1999 to see the performance of "Joseph and the Technicoloured Dream Coat," After primary 3 to 7 did their own production of it themselves. Joseph and the Technicoloured Dream Coat was a fantastic performance which everyone enjoyed. We also when to see Dr Dolittle and Cinderella which were equally as good.
