The Granary at Quay Lane, Sudbury

Situated in its peaceful surroundings by the water,  yet within easy walking distance of the town centre, The Granary provides an ideal meeting place for a variety of functions.

The doors lead from the Barratt room on to the balcony, which overlooks the Granary Cut.  At night the Cut and nearby trees on the opposite bank can be floodlit to provide a relaxing scene.

The strikingly illuminated roof timbers, natural finished red-brick walls and ash flooring of the Barratt Room combine to produce a charming atmosphere in this historic building.  It was erected in the early 1800's and recently restored by the River Stour Trust.
