FACILITIES

CLASSROOMS

The Grange School has eight good size classrooms.  Each room benefits from ample natural light through the large windows.  The rooms are well equipped with a sink unit for Art work, several display boards and a good sized, walk-in stock cupboard for storage of equipment and materials.  There are numerous, free-standing cupboards and tables, allowing for flexibility of layout. Every classroom benefits from being carpeted, greatly reducing noise levels from scraping chair legs etc. Each classroom has it's own cloakroom bay immediately outside the room, providing hooks for coats and racks for shoes.  The children's toilets are situated in the corridor outside each room.

HALL

The school has a large hall with a high roof and separate, raised and curtained stage area.  There is a stage lighting system and access to the stage from the hallway outside.  It has a wood block floor and again benefits from ample natural light through the large windows on two sides.

DINING HALL

We have a separate dining hall and kitchen which also doubles up as a Music teaching room.  This also has a wood block floor and large windows on two sides.

LIBRARY

The school library is situated in the entrance area and possesses a wide variety of reference books, classified under the Dewey system, with an added colour coding for quick reference.

COMPUTER ROOM

We have a well equipted computer room in which class ICT lessons can be taught or small groups of children can work.
