Children who experience severe/profound and multiple learning difficulties can be admitted to Greenfields School any time during the academic year. However it is the policy of South Tyneside Education Authority that admission will normally be arranged following the finalisation of the Statement of Special Education Needs. In exceptional circumstances an assessment placement may be arranged until the statement is finalised if they believe this to be to the advantage of the child.

Each September we ask parents to complete our Essential Information form. This helps us to ensure that our records are up to date and accurate. An emergency contact needs to be offered. It would be helpful if parents would fill this in and return it to school as soon as possible.

If any details change during the year please advise school as soon as possible.
