The old Junior School in Swan Lane built in 1909 and known as Evesham Council School, Girls Department upstairs and Boys downstairs.

Boys
A Boys class at work in 1911, work at the school was hampered on the opening day by a lack of school desks, which arrived at the end of the day.
Girls
The drilling and marching in the Girls Department was so loud one afternoon that oral work had to be suspended in the class rooms below.
