Grandma's
Cheese Pudding
Serves Four
Ingredients
1 pt milk
2 oz fresh breadcrumbs
8 oz English Cheddar cheese - grated
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon French Mustard
salt and freshly ground pepper
Method
1. Bring milk to boil in saucepan.
2. Place breadcrumbs in bowl and pour over the milk, stir in the cheese.
3. Lightly beat the eggs and mustard then mix in the breadcrumbs. season.
4. Butter a 2 1/2pt large shallow dish and pour in the cheese pudding.
5. Bake in oven at 180ºc (350ºf) gas mark 4 for 45 mins until lightly set and golden.
6. Serve at once with crisp garlic dresse salad of green beans, green pepper, tomato,
onion and crispy bread.
