Coed Cae Junior
School.
Coed
Cae Junior School began its life in September 1971 and was
officially opened by members of Gw
ent County Council on 23rd of
May 1972.In the twenty eight years of its existance it has seen
many changes but essentially still serves the community for whom
it was established.
The school currently has 170 pupils on roll with eight teachers and three N.N.E.B. The children are educated in eight classrooms, three of which support children with special educational needs. Our school logo indicates the English translation for Coed Cae- 'wooded field' and our motto is strongly held as "To Strive for Success".
As with most other primary Schools we are currently developing our I.C.T. capabilities with ourselves as staff and the children, supporting our vision:
"To Become a Centre of Excellence for learning"
As we look forwards to the Millennium we hope to provide our pupils with an understanding of their culture and heritage using creative and expressive ability to shape their future.
Below two of our younger pupils model the school uniform worn in navy with white shirts and school ties.

From our headmaster Mr I.G. Morgan and all of our staff we wish you the best of luck while on our web site and hope that you are inspired to paying further visits to view our updated pages in the near future.
