Miss Riaz's Class.
Last term our topic was the Romans and we found out what their life was like and what they ate. We also found out that they had their own army. We also went on trips to the old Roman cities of Chester and Wroxeter. The trip to Chester was really good because a Roman soldier took us around Chester and he took us to the Abitorium which is where the Roman Gladiators used to fight.

In class 8 we are doing about World War 2. We know that children were evacuated to the countryside. In some people's back gardens they had shelters to hide from the bombs. The German Nazi leader was a man called Adolf Hitler and he wanted to take over the world. His group were called the Axis and they had Germany, Japan and Italy.
We have also been doing 'Keeping warm' and we have learned that if you put your fingers on a piece of ice it will melt the ice because our body temperature is much higher than a piece of ice.
One last thing, Miss Riaz never shouts.
