outstanding year for Heathside students, maintaining the school's established trend of
excellent GCSE results in recent years. This year from a year group of 162 students:

We are again
delighted with the success of our Advanced Level students this year. Not only was the pass
rate 95% for all Advanced subject entries but the A and B grades totalled an outstanding
38% of all grades attained (excluding General Studies). 100 % of sixth formers gained 2 or
more Advanced level passes with the average number per student exceeding three
The average points score per student was 19.1 representing a half a point increase over 1999 figures in this the third year of sixth form results at Heathside. Some students deserve a special mention because of their notable achievements in gaining at least 24 Advanced level points. They include: |
