The Structure of this site

Notes on this Project

This web-site was produced by Year 8 pupils from Heathside School in Weybridge, Surrey. It will eventually form one of the school's first intranet resources when Heathside establishes full intranet provision in September 1998.

The site includes some assessment experiments on electromagnets on which you can learn, compare and contrast with your own work. We have further informative articles on the importance of electromagnets and Hot-Links to other web-sites that you may find interesting and helpful.

As well as being educational there is also an element of fun with our multiple choice ‘Quiz’. You are taught how to build an electromagnet therefore enabling you to create your own experiments and gadgets. If you do produce a gadget or follow our experiments, you can send the results to our site so we can compare results.

We include information not only for pupils, but for teachers too. The following list shows you the structure of this site in more detail, including the contents of each page in the developing project.
