The picture has a very low coast with sand and weeds with a very smudgy cloud storm at the top with light clouds and dark clouds mixed up. It has a boring holiday feel to it where it is raining and you can't go out. There's only a little bit of sea that you can see and it looks like river rapids.

The picture looks like it has been done in oil pastel or oil paint it has a mix of various dark greens for the shrubbery at the bottom of the picture where most of the sea should be. The sand is a dark yellow/green and looks very dirty the light clouds are coming in from the left and look as if they would take over so to speak and redeem the day and make it sunny. The picture looks as if it is a dull day in Brighton.
