It's a countryside

The mood is sad but relaxed

Everything is dark brown (if they aren't I'll mention their colour)

A bit below the middle of the painting is the horizon

A bit on the right of the middle of the painting is a windmill on the horizon, the mill is standing on a little hill and you see the mill from the back

The part above the horizon (also surrounding the mill) is the sky, painted light blue/dark, covered with (some darker, some lighter) clouds

On the right of the mill is a smaller house with an orange/brown roof

On the hill, on the left of this house is another, even smaller rectangular building

Underneath the house (with the orange/brown roof), three (very, very small) people are walking

On the left below the horizon is a lake, which you can only see partly. It's shaped broad on the left, touching the left and left corner of the paper, and in a point on the right, which doesn't touch the bottom nor the right of the paper. The lake is surrounded by a fence of small wooden poles standing against each other)which are not equal in size

On the left of the mill, on the horizon, stands a church which is very small (because of the distance)
