Sections 30 and 31 of the Education Act 1986 require the Governing Bodies of schools to prepare an annual report to parents, and to hold an annual parents. meeting at which this report, together with other aspects of school life, can be discussed. This report is the eleventh that Highsted governors have prepared for parents and covers the academic year from September 1998 to August 1999.
