Senacre Technology School in Maidstone have written their own Key Stage 3 scheme of work based on the National Numeracy Strategy. Senacre is a high school with a wide range of ability but with many pupils entering at below NC level 4. Their scheme provides for three levels of ability within their setting arrangements . higher, middle and lower schemes.

Senacre are happy for these materials to be downloaded by other schools and adpated as appropriate. The materials could provide:

a useful basis for an extension programme for more able Year 6 pupils

a framework for the development of data handling from Year 6 into Year 7

a framework for other secondary school to develop similar Year 7 programmes
