This term is spent in study of the uses and production of documents in organisations. Students will complete the work required for the examination on business documents on January 13th 2004. Some practical task work must be completed by November 30th.
By the end of November Students will also have completed the third coursework portfolio based on the Cyber cafe Scenario. This requires students to understand and use the basic components of computer hardware and software to design a computer system, set up programs with toolbars, macros, templates and spell checkers and to set up 3 web pages. Students will have a portfolio showing their ability to set up a computer to perform common tasks automatically. They will also provide evidence that they can adjust the settings of a computer to suit individual users.
By the end of April
Students will have completed all their coursework and had a provisional mark. They will be improving and revising work as
