The
Dialogue
of Cultures
Working with Surrey Docks City Farm and anthropologist, Stephanie Bunn, HyperAction will set up an Internet link between schools in the London Borough of Southwark and an education centre in Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.

Children will exchange cultural information by collaborating on a website. In the summer of 1998 the Kyrgyz children will come to Britain on a cultural exchange visit and meet and work with their net pals on creative arts projects on the Farm.

The project involves training for teaching and library staff in the use of the Internet and new multimedia technology and the development of web site , through which pupils creatively explore common reading experiences.
