Vocational training - GNVQ

It is estimated that by the year 2000, 75% of all jobs will require a good working knowledge of IT. Increasingly, this will mean Internet and Intranet skills in terms of both information retrieval and web authoring.

The development of a web site meets the core skills requirement of vocational qualifications such as the GNVQ.

Students will develop skills in the key areas of Communication and Information Technology, and will be introduced to new working practices in preparation for the working environments many will soon encounter.
