Attainment Targets are given, each with a Statement of Attainment.
These are then applied to the six fundamental Components of the Syllabus.
The Components form the basis of education in the four Key Stages and in
the post-16 stage.
A Scheme of Assessment is appended. This would permit the standardising of
the reporting of Levels of Attainment in a graded system related to the National
Curriculum's ten Levels but allow considerable flexibility for each School in the
setting, marking and grading of work. Schools may wish to adapt these further
for their own use where appropriate and should consult the specific instructions
in the appendix.
